Each Deluxe Ocean Bure is a private, grass-roofed cabin built directly in front of the beach and surrounded by beds of exotic flowers. As for our gourmet meals, every dinner is different, delectable, and arrives with generous portions. Our vegetables are grown organically, the chicken and pork raised in our own pens, and the seafood caught daily. The heart of Papageno’s magic is its native staff. With few exceptions, our staff all live in nearby villages that still remain largely outside the Western cash economy. Our strong mutual bonds with native Fijian culture and society enable us to offer visits to the village of Naivakarauniniu, where you can meet their chief, and tour their plantations and trails. We can also arrange a visit to the local school; for guests who are travelling to Fiji with their children, this can be an amazing cross-cultural experience. And for musicians and music-lovers, every Sunday is an opportunity to hear the joyful sound of Fijian gospel sung at the village church.
